Our firm is currently recruiting for an experienced Screen Print Production Supervisor.  You will manage the production of client orders and lead an elite team of dedicated professionals.  Position is located in Salem, VA. This is a full time role for a textile printing expert who wants to grow with our global firm.  You are responsible for receiving orders from order management and creating a production schedule to ensure completion and on time delivery according to the “in hand date” on each order.  In addition, you will ensure quality, maximum efficiency and on time delivery of production and maintain screen and ink inventory.


  • Receive/print orders from Order Management and create a production schedule to assure completion and on time delivery according to the “in hand date” on each order
  • Coordinate with Order Management, Receiving and Sales to ensure arrival of goods to be printed, in accordance to that schedule
  • Coordinate with Sales Dept. and or customer to assure quality and on time delivery of customer approved product
  • Perform a Pre-press analysis: Coordinate with Art dept. to assure the customers required final product can be produced with the machines and printing capabilities of the department
  • Receive art from the Art Dept. and print out films using color separation software and printer
  • Create and check screens to assure quality of the print, durability and efficiency during production
  • Mix or match inks according to specified PMS colors requested in the art.
  • Schedule sample to be printed for customer approval to assure on time delivery and customer satisfaction according to the “in hand date”
  • Upon customer sample approval, schedule order for production.
  • Create set-up instructions and work with the Press Operator to assure quality of print before and during production
  • Approve the first piece of production to assure the quality of the print matches the customer approved sample
  • Ensure quality, maximum efficiency and on time delivery of production
  • Maintain 1% or less fallout rate for misprinted production
  • Coordinate with Production Lead to assure print quality, accuracy of counts, packing lists and shipping instructions
  • Maintain screen inventory for production and coordinate cleaning, reclaiming and coating schedule to assure available “press ready” inventory
  • Maintain ink inventory and all supplies needed for production. At the lowest available cost.
  • Maintain all machinery and assure preventive maintenance is completed and reserve parts are on hand
  • Create and maintain art files, printing samples and print instructions to assure print duplication of repeat orders.
  • Training and instructing of all team members to assure quality and efficiency of production.
  • Maintain accurate information of all chemicals, solvents and hazardous materials used in the Screenprint Dept. (MSDS Material Safety Data Sheets)
  • Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment for all team members.



  • At least 5 years in textile printing
